Adjustment
The most important part of the healing process here at Hyde Family Chiropractic. Dr. Kenzie has training with children, moms through pregnancy, athletes, and more! She changes her style of adjustment for each patient to ensure each patient receives personalized care. Some techniques utilized in our office: Instrument (Activator), SOT, Diversified, Thompson, and Upper Cervical.
IASTM
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, or IASTM, is a technique used to help relax muscles or tissue that might be tight or have scar tissue built up. This technique includes using a stainless steel tool that massages/scrapes over the skin to help relax the muscle. This can help promote healing in the area as well as increase the overall range of motion.
Ultrasound & Muscle Stim
Ultrasound and Muscle stim can help promote healing as well. Ultrasound uses sound waves to help break up tissue while muscle stim can be used to help decrease pain. These therapies can be used individually or together.
Functional Medicine
Now accepting new functional medicine clients!
Now offering functional medicine appointments — a systems biology-based approach that focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of disease. If you have been struggling with chronic disease, fatigue, or other symptoms you might be a candidate for functional medicine care. Although we are not treating or curing these conditions, we are looking at your body as a whole and making sure each system is functioning at its best so you can feel at your best.
Functional medicine takes a root-cause approach to health by examining how your lifestyle, genetics, and environment influence your wellness. We use advanced testing and personalized care plans that may include supplements and lifestyle + diet modifications to help you feel your best naturally.
Please know that functional medicine is NOT covered by insurance. Please also be aware that functional medicine testing can range from $200 - $400 / test. Payment is self-pay by the patient before the tests are ordered or through the testing facility directly. Have a HSA/FSA account? Sometimes you can use these to purchase the tests. Make sure to check with your insurance or company that manages your HSA/FSA account for more information. We would love to call and ask, but we found that the account holder and/or patient has the best luck in calling to go over coverage for these tests.
In order to help you reach your goals, we will collect information to help create an individualized care plan with lifestyle changes. This information will be from detailed case history, questionnaires, surveys, lab tests, or physical exams. Once this information is reviewed by Dr. Kenzie, she will go over what she calls the “game plan”. This can include diet changes, exercise goals, supplements and more.
Some of the supplement lines we use include Standard Process, Thorne, and CellCore. We work with you and your budget for supplements, but we also want to make sure you are receiving quality products that work!
Coming Soon: Acupuncture
Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture helps restore balance in the body by stimulating specific points with fine, sterile needles. It’s used to relieve pain, reduce stress, improve sleep, support hormonal health, and enhance overall well-being. Acupuncture is unfortunately not covered by insurance and payment is due at the time of service.

Will a child be adjusted like this — most likely not! We adjust children different than we would adults — not twisitng or cracking for the kiddos, especially newborns!
